The fan on my RV air conditioner continues to blow when the thermostat shuts the cold air off. Whats wrong?

I have a 1995 Gulfstream Conquest RV. It has a duct Coleman air conditioning unit. When the inside of the RV is cooled to the temp set on the thermostat, it shuts off the cold air but not the fan. What could be wrong with it? I just replaced the power
I've had a dozen different RV's, all of them left the fan running when the compressor shuts off, my 96 Cobra does it too.
You can have the wiring modified to cut the fan off with the compressor, it would likely make the fan last longer,
