can you use a cheap keychain gap tool on acdelco iridium spark plugs?

the plugs seem too delicate and was wondering if there is another tool that will not damage the OE plugs

No i would not recommend it, go get the right gaping tool.

The plug should already be preset but you MUST ALWAYS check it just in case it is not right.
